The TAPS Public Transit board of directors authorized Transdev General Manager Scott McClellan to negotiate a settlement agreement with Landmark Bank Monday as part of the transit agency’s efforts to settles its debt. The negotiations center around a forbearance agreement between TAPS and the bank for nearly $696,000 in loan payments.



CRIME: Abilene Police Blotter 5/24/2016

Incident reports released Monday by the Abilene Police Department include the arrest of a man after police said he pointed a gun at an individual. The victim told police the man first did this at the rest stop on Interstate 20 in Callahan County, then followed him to a convenience store in Abilene.
