NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NEW HOPE CULTURAL EDUCATION FACILITIES FINANCE CORPORATION Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the New Hope Cultural Education Facilities Finance Corporation (the "Issuer") on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of McCall, Parkhurst & Horton L.L.P., 700 N. St. Mary's Street, Suite 1525, San Antonio, Texas 78205, with respect to the issuance by the Issuer of one or more series of bonds or notes (the "Bonds") pursuant to a plan of financing in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $45,000,000, the proceeds of which will be loaned to Glen Hope Harbor, Inc., a Texas nonprofit corporation (the "Borrower"). The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to the Borrower for the purpose of (a) financing the cost of acquiring nine assisted living facilities (the "Project"), (b) financing certain capital expenditures at the Project, (c) establishing a debt service reserve fund and (d) paying costs of issuance. The Project will consist of the nine assisted living facilities each of which contains approximately 6,300 to 7,500 square feet and includes 16 units, congregate living and dining areas, a central kitchen and related common areas. The facilities are located at 8524 Copperbrook Drive, Houston, Texas 77095, 21803 Oak Park Trails Drive, Katy, Texas 77450, 8733 Eastloch Drive, Spring, Texas 77379, 5000 West Alden Bridge Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77382, 5500 Atascocita Road, Humble, Texas 77346, 3403 Southfork Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77578, 1405 West 24th Street, Houston, Texas 77008, 1418 Walkers Way, San Antonio, Texas 78216, and 20718 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, Texas 78258. All interested parties are invited to attend such public hearing to express their views with respect to the Project and the Bonds. Any interested persons unable to attend the hearing may submit their views in writing at the address above prior to the date scheduled for the hearing. This notice is published and the above described hearing is to be held in satisfaction of the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, regarding the public approval prerequisite to the exemption from federal income taxation of interest on the Bonds.
