NOTICE OF CLOSE OUT PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF EVANT
TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WATER PROJECT
NO. 7214159
 
The City of Evant will conduct a Close Out Public Hearing to discuss the activities accomplished during the implementation of a Texas Department of Rural Affairs funded Water System Improvements project under Contract No. 7214159. At the Hearing the actual accomplishments of the grant funded activities will be discussed including water line improvements, replacement of six and four inch waterlines, fire hydrants, gate valves, revegetation and pavement repair.

Improvements occurred at various locations throughout the City including at East Brooks Drive, Memory Lane, West Brooks Drive and South Gladys Street.

In addition the City’s participation in Affirmative Action, the Citizen Participation Plan and Equal Opportunity will be discussed. At this time the City of Evant will also present information regarding the National Fair Housing Act and will discuss ways to implement Fair Housing within the City.

The Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2016, at 5:05 p.m. at the Evant City Council Chambers, 598 State Hwy. 84 East, Evant, Texas. All citizens and interested parties are encouraged to attend. Interested citizens who are not able to attend the Public Hearing may submit their written comments to Pat Parr, City Secretatry at City Hall, PO Box 10, Evant, Texas 76525.

Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require a translator, auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact the City Secretary at the City by calling 254-471-3135 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Citizens requiring assistance must make contact at least two (2) days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

La ciudad de Evant Ilevará  a cabo una estrecha a audiencia pública para discutir las actividades realizadas durante la implementación de un departamento de asuntos rurales financiado por proyecto de mejoras al sistema de agua bajo contrato no. 7214159. En la audiencia los logros reales de las actividades de subvención será discutirán incluyendo mejoras de la linea de agua, reemplazo de seis y reparación de líneas de cuatro pulgadas de agua, hidrantes, válvulas de compuerta, revegetación y pavimento.

Majoras se produjeron en varios lugares a lo largo de la ciudad, incluyendo a este Brooks en coche, carril de la memoria, West Brooks Drive y sur Glasys calle.

Además se discutirá la participación de la ciudad en acción afirmativa, el Plan de participación ciudadana e igualdad de oportunidades. En este momento la ciudad de Evant también presentará información sobre la ley de vivienda justa nacional y discutirá maneras de implementar Feria vivienda dentro de la ciudad.

La audiencia pública se celebrará en miércoles, 27 de julio de 2016 en 17:05 en la cámara del Concilio Evant, 598 estado Hwy. 84 East, Evant, Texas. Todos los ciudadanos y las partes interesadas se anima a asistir. Ciudadanos interesados que no puedan asistir a la audiencia pública podrán presentar sus observaciones por escrito a Pat Parr, Secretario de la ciudad en el Ayuntamiento, PO Box 10, Evant, Texas 76525.

  Notice is hereby given that District Judge Phil Robertson will hold a public hearing in the 220th District Courtroom at Hamilton, Hamilton County, Texas, on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at 10 a.m. for the purpose of reviewing and setting the annual budget of the County Auditor and any assistant auditor and the annual compensation for the 220th Judicial District Court Reporter.
  A copy of the proposed budget for the County Auditor and any assistant auditor and the proposed compensation for the 220th Judicial District Court Reporter will be available in the District Clerk’s office from July 25, 2016 until the hearing.
